New Student Orientation is designed to help students as they transition to the social, cultural and academic aspects of the college. We partner with family members during this exciting time in their student's life to assist them in understanding the experience their students are embarking upon. Entering a new community of scholars can be stressful and we're excited to connect students with resources that will aid in their success at SUNY Schenectady. To help you reach your goals and achieve success in the SUNY Schenectady community, your Academic Dean, advisor, success coach, student college ambassador, and many other College representatives are excited to welcome and guide you during your Orientation program.
Should you need any accommodations, please call (518)381-1345.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
You may e-mail the Admissions Office: [email protected]
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You do not need to bring your ticket, however, be ready to provide your name at the check-in table.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
While it is not madatory to have the name on the ticket match the attendee, it is helpful so that we may be able to identify the student. This allows us to provide them with the necessary information regarding the program they were accepted into upon arrival.
